Learn how to install aftermarket car radio DVD GPS navigation for Toyota Camry 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 year model, which brings you much more entertainment and convenience than the factory car stereo system. The aftermarket 2012-2015 Toyota Camry navigation DVD radio has become a fashion these days for its multi-functions like DVD player, Bluetooth hands free phone, Bluetooth music, GPS navigation system, HD 8 inch touch screen, etc.
Installation of this head unit is easy for a professional car stereo shop, it’s plug and play because the power cords included in the package are specially for factory wiring harness of new Toyota Camry. There are two kinds of Toyota Camry navigation DVD available because the dashboard for different countries are a little different, the below model is for America and Middle East Version:

Though they look different, but the software and firmware and hardware are all the same and installation is more or less the same. Firstly you will need to remove the top cover and air vents, then remove trims on both sides, remove screws to take out the factory Toyota Camry radio and CD player and climate control, then plug all cables with factory wiring harness, push the new Toyota Camry navigation DVD radio into the dash, fix screws and install back the screws, trims, air vents and top cover.

As for the cables, there’s power cables included with a CAN-BUS to support steering wheel control, a USB cable which can be put in the glove box, and GPS antenna can be put at top right of the dashboard. The RCA cables allow you to connect external amplifier and sub-woofer.
This Toyota Camry navigation DVD can also support a rear view camera, installation of the camera is a little complicated because you need to run video cable from the front to the rear trunk, and the camera should be powered with 12V reverse light, and there’s a wire label with “BACK” from the RCA cables which also should be connected with 12V reverse light, so that the DVD monitor can automatically display rear view images after putting in reverse gear.
