The BMW X5 E70 replaced the first generation of BMW X5 E53 since 2006. We already has a popular head unit for BMW X5 E53, now we provide a new model for BMW X5 E70. Compared with the X5 E53 GPS unit, the X5 E70 GPS unit does not replace the factory radio/CD player below the large screen, but it replaced the E70 factory 6.5inch screen, with 800MHZ ARM11 CPU and Windows CE 6.0 system, this BMW E70 X5 DVD GPS head unit has many features like GPS navigation, DVD player, Bluetooth, support iPod, and equipped with specialized can bus box.

This navigation unit can fit:

BMW X5 2011-2014 with original 6.5 inch screen
BMW X5 2007-2010 with original 6.5 inch screen
Not work for BMW X5 E70 with factory large 8.8 inch screen.

Please make sure your car has a working aux, see below photo:

Factory working AUX is very important, becasue the music sound from the new BMW X5 E70 navigation unit will transfer to car speakers through factory AUX mode.

How to check if my BMW X5 E70 has a working AUX?

>> Normally AUX-IN port is located in the armrest of BMW X5 E70, you can use a AUX cable to connect your phone and see if it plays music with your phone, or go back to main menu, select "CD/Multimeda", Select "AUX Front", "AUX Active", if you are able to change the AUX volume from low to high, that means your car has a working AUX.

Note: Navigation sound can come out from a small speakers included in the package.
